The Art of Influence for Technical Leaders

Engineering context

The ability to influence others is particularly critical in project and program manager roles where collaboration among a wide variety of stakeholders is required to deliver the right outcome despite competing agendas and misaligned interests.

This one-day workshop is based on research-based frameworks and tools that help engineering leaders achieve outcomes in new ways and in situations where they have no formal authority. The workshop empowers Engineering and Project Managers to experiment with contemporary communication strategies for greater influence such as the 4-MAT Model, and 5 Principles of Persuasion.

Upon completion, this course will give you tools to effectively influence in a variety of situations with many relevant stakeholders including clients, partners, regulators, staff and internal colleagues.
