This two-day course provides an introduction to Low Voltage electrical distribution, from the Main Switchboard to Final Distribution.

The course covers the system components for Low Voltage power reticulation, an understanding how to select these components, the relationships to Australian Electrical standards, as well as innovations and technology for a rapidly increasing digital world.

Aimed at graduate or junior engineers entering the Low Voltage electrical power systems design industry, participants will gain practical insights from an industry expert.

Participants will also use hardware demo units and software to apply theory into practice and strengthen their understanding of key concepts.

Your facilitator for this course

This course is designed by Schneider Electric and delivered in partnership with Engineering Education Australia.

Christopher Seath has close to 25 years in the electrical industry, with seven years at Schneider Electric.

His role covers electrical designer, consulting to key customers, project management and training. The majority of Chris's experience is in Low Voltage, including electrical distribution system design and standby power.

Chris has a strong desire to help people understand electrical systems and assist them with selecting correct equipment.
