Not only do engineers have to be mindful of the laws of nature, they must, like any principled and scrupulous professional, operate within the confines of common law.
This two-day course will provide you with the tools to implement due diligence processes as part of good governance, ensuring that you possess the skills and knowledge to implement a reliable, diligent and defensible approach to address critical risks.
In the normal course of events, due diligence enables senior decision makers, taxpayers and shareholders to understand required expenditure. In worse case scenarios, if legal action occurs, it ensures you have done everything in your power to satisfy the courts.
You’ll discover the the difference between risk management and due diligence, learn how to use appropriate tools to educate and influence others, find out about the requirements of work health and safety legislation and a great deal more.
Each participant receives a copy of the latest edition of the R2A text, Engineering Due Diligence, which will be used as a basis for the course.
Download the course Technical Flyer for more details.
