Various pumps are used across different industries. Selecting the correct pump for a particular design and application is vital to ensure the longevity of a pump and the best possible system performance.
This two-day course will guide you through the requirements for selecting pumps to ensure optimum system performance. You will learn practical processes to make cost-effective decisions and avoid poor pump system operation.
As a participant, you’ll be able to identify the various parameters required for calculating the flow of fluid through pipes and identify the parameters for selecting centrifugal pumps. You'll also learn how to select the appropriate size, capacity and pressure of a pump for a given application and describe and select appropriate pumps for various applications.
