Growth Mindset for Technical Leaders

Engineering context

Adapting to our turbulent times requires a set of shared everyday habits and systems that support them, rather than some batch of catchy talking points.

Decades of scientific research into motivation indicate that a growth mindset, which holds that skills and abilities can be improved in ways that shape the purpose of the work that you do, leads to academic achievement, relational fulfillment, and professional success.

Growth mindset is the belief that skills and abilities can be improved and that the development of skills and abilities is a critical goal of the work you do, and is particularly important for engineers who need to think outside the box in their day to day work.

During this course, participants will learn how a Growth Mindset is fundamental to innovation and building personal learning agility. They will learn best practice approaches for developing a Growth Mindset to cultivate in their day-to-day work, as well as incorporate in giving and receiving feedback.
