According to the most recent detailed study done by Engineers Australia, there are still relatively low numbers of women involved in the engineering profession. The report concluded that “there are many outstanding women engineers in Australia, however statistics suggest that progress towards greater participation by women in engineering has stalled. The factors involved are complex and pose major challenges but they must be faced to achieve real progress.”
One of those factors is leadership. To encourage leadership among professional women, this one-day workshop provides strategies and practical skills to develop confidence and leadership qualities that are essential for high performance.
A pre-workshop focus list, a comprehensive workbook incorporating practical exercises and a follow-up review program will provide useful frameworks to encourage personal and professional growth.
The workshop will enable you to develop new ways of thinking, influence others using your unique strengths, attract and retain the interest of loyal followers, embrace a variety of social styles in your team, effectively communicate, and develop ideas for further personal and professional change.
