Deliberation and discussion are an integral part of almost any job. Having effective communication skills will help you become more influential during conversations, consultations and formal negotiations. 

This one-day workshop introduces principle negotiation and influencing techniques, providing practical skills to help you achieve desired outcomes and enhance relationships with stakeholders.

Upon completion, you will understand the meaning and nature of negotiation and influence; identify and apply a range of negotiation and influencing strategies; identify the different roles required in the negotiation process, as well as identify some of the common 'tricks' poor negotiators use and how do deal with them.

If you’re relatively new to the negotiation process or you’re about to embark on formal negotiation for the first time, this workshop is ideal for you.

Your facilitator for this course

Adam Le Good has worked as an internal coach and professional mentor for over 20 years. He has conducted a variety of management development programs for clients throughout Australia and New Zealand. Adam uses practical applications of management principles and a unique, humorous and theatrical style to ensure participants enjoy their learning experience and translate their newly acquired skills to the workplace. Adam has a sound knowledge of adult learning principles, a degree in psychology and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Alison Jardie is a professional facilitator and coach, a psychologist and a Master Practitioner in NLP. She has over 20 years' experience working with groups and individuals in a learning and development context. Alison has been responsible for leading large teams and organisational interventions, as well as designing and implementing successful, innovative and award-winning developmental programs. 

Grace O'Malley has worked as a leadership, management and learning consultant for 10 years and specialises in leadership management and facilitation. She has worked in a wide range of organisations from small NGOs, Government, Corporate and private businesses; in health, engineering, vehicle, housing, community services and education sectors. Grace uses realistic experiences and case studies to engage participants during this workshop. In addition to a Bachelor of Education, Grace has a Diploma of Training and Assessment Systems, Certificate IV Training and Assessment and Advanced Diploma of Management.
