Emerging Leadership

Engineering context

Numerous research studies in the area of leadership capability within organisations, including engineering firms, indicates that companies that develop constructive leadership cultures perform better than those that don’t. In these cultures, employees have shown greater productivity, commitment and motivation, teamwork and cooperation.

Beginning with the foundation principle of “It starts with me…”, this one-day workshop will help you gain a better understanding of yourself, your work practices and how best to apply these into the practice of leadership.

Blending theoretical with practical work, this workshop will help you understand the differences between leading and managing, develop an awareness of your effect on others, identify your personal strengths and how to take advantage of them, and learn the ‘3 pillars of leadership’ concept.
